My favorite fortune cookie of all time

As promised from the earlier post, I would tell you about the fortune I read out of a Chinese fortune cookie.  This happened  back in late October when I was in the process of building my food website http://www.anngagno.com.  When you are working full-time as a chemist and moonlighting at night as a photographer, you have little or no time to cook.  I have lived on the anything delivery and anything fast food.  I know, I know.  This is not the way of a foodie but when you are desperate for sustenance, you would literally bite on anything ;)

On that late October night, I ordered Chinese food and it suddenly hit me.  Having a good collection of fortune cookies from all the delivery I have had, why not take a picture of it?  I have this vision in my head to focus the image on the fortune on the foreground and bunch up wrapped fortune cookies in the background.  So I pick one fortune cookie and break it and imagine my surprise at the fortune that I read.  It said “You are soon going to change your present line of work”.  I cracked up laughing

and feverishly snapped images of this unbelievable find.  Changing careers have been my intention for a whole while now and for the gods to seemingly agree with me seals the deal!    So like I said in the earlier post, it seems really insanely out-of-character of me to jump into the unknown. But I feel good about this uncertainty so I am making this jump with both feet in.  Cross your fingers and hold your breath with me ;)
