Early this year I went back to one of my happy places. I came back to Ryerson to meet up with my business partner Abe with the intent of planning for several EyeCandyTO things. It ended up to be a trip down memory lane. What is different this time is that there is an actual place where one can do it very comfortably with a nice cup of coffee. Balzac’s is now at the heart of Ryerson. A definite plus!
Balzacs I have long known since the days I was training with my mentor at Liberty Village. It is also my coffee of choice whenever I am at the Distillery District. I wish they have opened Balzac’s when I regularly went to Ryerson but well I guess now that it is there, I have more reason to stay a little longer than I usually do and let the guilty pleasure of reminiscing take over. That surely would be easily done with a steaming cup of coffee.

I really love Balzac as well. I wish there was one closer to me in south Etobicoke.

Yes the quality is really good. No matter which Balzac I go to, it’s that same smooth taste.
