Four years ago, I regretted not having a good camera with me when Canada won gold at the Vancouver Olympics. Today, I set two consecutive alarms to wake me up early and I headed downtown with an ardent wish of witnessing something great once again. This time around, I got the right equipment and I was definitely in the middle of it all. I knew people would flock to Yonge and Dundas once Canada wins. I just love the euphoria of people jubilant for a game that is so ingrained in every Canadian. It definitely got my heart pumping in excitement.
Congratulations once again to #TeamHockeyCanada. Truly deserving of that golden metal!
P.S. And now I can happily take a nap… :D
