Thanksgiving weekend has grown to be a big weekend for me. It is that time of year that I pull out all the stops and cook a whirlwind for my family and friends here in Toronto. I have embraced this Canadian tradition and made it my own. I came from a family that gathers around food to celebrate and be together. Every Thanksgiving I often get reflective of the past year. The past year that went by sure gave me a lot of blessings. There is indeed a lot to be thankful for.
I am thankful for all my old friends and family that stood by me through all my ups and downs. I know you all know who you are. I don’t intend to be mushy. Just want to say that I am grateful :)
I am thankful for a business partner and friend Abe Wornovitzky and the new clients that we have found for our EyeCandyTO. I am living the dream of doing what I am so passionate about. I know it is such a big blessing to be able to do what I love.
I am thankful for all the new friends that I have made this past year. In this day and age of being impersonal, I am still blessed to find people who add so much quality to my day-to-day. It is such a priceless pleasure to be called a friend too. That feeling never grows old.
I wish all of you the warmest of Thanksgiving dinners this weekend with the tightest of hugs from your family and friends. Happy Thanksgiving!
