Coffee and All That Jazz

Last Wednesday, I found myself in downtown Toronto, too early for a dinner date.  At times like that, I normally would just kill time in a coffee shop and hope that they have a comfy chair for me to settle in.  This time around I remembered a cozy spot in Roncesvalles.  I found myself back at a comfy table at Coffee and All that Jazz.

It was my friend Valerie who told me about this indie coffee shop. They carry really smooth coffee and if you find yourself in an indulging mood, then go for the latte just like I did.  They do a really indulgent frothy one. And if you are a caffeine addict like I am, then you prolly would end up buying the beans too.  For the half an hour that I spent there, I saw locals walk in and out, purchasing coffee beans.  It adds to the charm too that the person behind the counter (who prolly was the owner) greets several customers by name.  It is impressive to see the personal connection he has with the people who come into his coffee shop. How I wish I can find something like this around my area.

If you find yourself in the Roncesvalles area and have time to kill, treat yourself to a latte and a ginger cookie.  I would assure you, it will be time well spent. :)
